We opened up the cottage and put the water in today, and things mostly went smoothly! An old valve that we no longer use was leaking, so we cut it out of a copper pipe. Instead of soldering, we used these shark bites to do the repair. The whole thing was done in about 5 minutes! Definitely recommended for copper plumbing repairs
